inchworm ~ Inchworm Handmade Children's Clothing

Something I love is... Paul. He is a truly good man. He laughs with me. He hardly ever leaves the seat up. He is strong and virtuous. He makes the bed (though unevenly and with lumps). He tells me I'm beautiful. He gets silly with the kids. He likes Columbo and watches the DVDs over and over. He is romantic and amorous. He has an incredible mind. He beats me at bowling. He is my friend.

I love my little family. My hubby, my friend, my guy...he's the one who always supports me and believes in me. I'm always finding out from other people how he talks about how talented I am behind my back, which always makes my heart skip a beat. It's nice to know he thinks I'm so great. Of course, our little family wouldn't be as fun without our two fabulous little kids. I love being their mommy and can't imagine life without them. Seeing all three of my favorite people together makes me happy, which is one of the reasons I love this photo of them so much. I love how they all just pile together in one perfect heap of love.

kungfubambini ~ Kung Fu Bambini

Ahhh, love. Well, I think it's pretty obvious how much I love my girls - and we've definitely all seen pictures of them a time or two. My whole life pretty much revolves around them... even my business of course. But there's another person in my life that you don't see quite as often - at least not in photos. He is the man behind the woman and he supports everything that I do. Without his support I wouldn't be able to have my own company and figure out what it is in this crazy crafting life of mine that I'm intended to do. And he's hot too. Isn't he hot? hehe.

And he loves me too. Wanna know how I know? Because he let me take this picture. Just now. At 11pm. While he's trying to watch The Amazing Jonathan. And he just rubbed both of his eyes red and hasn't shaved in days. And he knows I'm going to post it on one of my girly blogs for all the ladies to see. And he doesn't care... because he loves me :)

Tamara much prefers being behind the camera to behind her stove, thus crowning her microwave as her favorite gadget! What busy mom doesn't love this modern miracle of convenience, and besides..it makes great popcorn!!

After the family's recent move into their 1923 Dutch Colonial dream home that "didn't need a thing", Violet has come to realize that her favorite kitchen accoutrement is the IKEA kitchen planner. It has become her companion over the last month with lovingly dog-eared pages of squeaky clean kitchen cabinets and brilliantly shiny stainless steel appliances. Oooh, how lovely that apron sink will look under those newly restored milkglass lights. Soon... very, very soon.

In the meantime, her husband finds everything works just fine for brewing beer, which will help when he sees the new kitchen budget.

Sheila's favorite kitchen tool is her stove..although it has taken a while to master the electric stove..she has only been cooking on electric for 2 years now and many a burned dish later she feels she can cook a pretty decent meal..it it used twice a day most everyday. Sheila loves to come up with new dishes and it is her shangri la to be in the kitchen behind the stove.

Cooking has always been one of my favorite things to do. When I was 8 years old, my sweet Grandma Laura first taught me how to make homemade macaroni and cheese. When Grandma's dinner guest told me that my mac and cheese was as good as hers, I got a pat on the back and the thumbs up for having what it takes to become another Tischer Family cook. From that moment, I fell in love with food and the beauty of constructing fabulous meals. My kitchen gadget collection rivals my fabric stash so I had to pick my favorite gadget of the day:the stainless steel steaming milk frother. When it's cold outside, there's nothing more yummy than steamy warm drinks like homemade hot cocoa or a decaf chai latte. When topped off with a few spoonfuls of foamy hot milk, the drink becomes both beautiful and even more yummy.

Michele loves her microplane zester for a variety of different
kitchen jobs, including grating chocolate and hard cheeses--and of
course zesting citrus fruits. Lemon zest makes lots of dishes taste
better. And it's pretty too!

One of Amy's favorite thing in her kitchen is an old tea set. It belonged to her Grandma Millie, a world traveler. Everytime she looks at that set, Amy thinks of her grandma and wonders what little corner of the world it was picked up in.

Hilary loves to start her day with prayer time...she's going to need
supernatural help to get three kids out of bed, dressed, and two of
them off to school by 7:30AM...especially since they were awake most
of the night! But Hilary knows that in order to focus on her Bible
reading, devotion, and prayer...she needs a white, crystalline, bitter
alkaloid, C8H10N4O2, usually derived from coffee or tea: used in
medicine chiefly as a nervous system stimulant...also known as
caffeine! Hilary's favorite kitchen gadget is her four cup Mr. Coffee
coffeemaker! WHEW! That'll get 'er goin'!

Susan is in the midst of a cross country move from NH to CA. Getting her current small town house in the woods ready and maintained for sale and searching for a new house in an enormous city has made her Screwpull her current favorite "end of the day stress-reducing" kitchen gadget!

Ronda loves to cook and bake and she has many, many kitchen gadgets and tools that make her happy. Her family's favorite is her standing mixer also known as "Cookie Maker" . It mixes cookie dough almost daily and cookies from Mom are some of the best medicine for the soul.

Tricia's favorite kitchen item isn't one that she actually works with.
She likes to gaze at the early 1800's transferware teapot and wonder about the ladies who had tea from it once upon a time.
Although no longer fit to drink from, it has the glorious task of holding flowers most of the time.

My favorite kitchen item would have to be the reproduction jadeite hobnail cake stand my brother in law gave me for Christmas last year. I love it! But then, I also love those vintage canisters with the cool green lids...and the red plastic flour scoop...and that cool sugar container that pours exactly a teaspoon every time...oh, and I can't forget my vintage CHERRY cookie jar...I'm crazy for cherries. Love that new polka dot dish towel I just got too. But yeah...I think that cake stand takes the cake. It's really my favorite. I wish my brother-in-law
could draw my name EVERY year for the gift exchange!
